Sheremetyevo Airport, amid a reduction in international air travel, will suspend passenger service in Terminal D starting March 15 of this year. At the same time, the operation of the airport's parking facilities will be optimized.

Parking in the multi-level parking lot of Terminal D will be available only to airport and airline employees from that date. Access to the parking area can be made using personal vehicles with official passes or with cars from car-sharing services Delimobil, Citydrive, and Yandex.Drive.

Flights from airlines operating in Terminal D will be moved to Terminals B and C. More details about the upcoming changes can be found in the material on the official airport website.

Passengers who have booked parking in Terminal D from March 15 onward are asked to use the booking cancellation service in the Feedback section. We apologize for the necessary inconveniences.

Terminal D parking suspends services.

The car-sharing service <a href="https://citydrive.ru/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Citydrive</a> is now among the official partners of Sheremetyevo International Airport. This means that users of the service can complete their car rental for free on the airport premises or pick up a car upon arrival in Moscow.

Parking spaces for car-sharing vehicles are located on the 2nd level of the parking lot of Terminal B (STK, Northern Terminal Complex) and the 2nd level of the parking lot of Terminal D (UTC, Southern Terminal Complex). Both locations can be easily found in the Citydrive mobile app: to do this, open the car map, tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen, and apply the "Designated Parking" filter. If you then tap on the blue parking marker, a window with detailed information about it will open.

At Sheremetyevo, a convenient entry and exit algorithm based on license plate recognition is in place for car-sharing clients, without the use of a parking ticket. In most cases, the system successfully identifies the vehicle and issues a command to open the barrier. In cases where, due to adverse weather conditions, the vehicle's license plate cannot be read correctly, the client should press the call button at the barrier and follow the dispatcher’s instructions.

The short-term car rental service Citydrive is available in mobile applications for iOS and Android. Currently, the operator's fleet consists of over 6,000 vehicles of various makes and comfort classes; the company's clients choose cars that suit them best.

New rates for covered parking.

The modern 5-level parking facility of Terminal C, with a capacity of 2,500 parking spaces, was put into operation simultaneously with Terminal C in January 2020. However, in March of the same year, the operation of the facility was suspended due to a reduction in international air traffic. 

After 1.5 years, the parking facility resumed operations. It will accept vehicles of passengers on international flights of Aeroflot.

We recommend drivers arriving at the airport in personal vehicles to use the Multi-level Parking or transit lanes along the parking building for passenger drop-off and pick-up. The first 30 minutes of stay in these locations are free!

We advise taxi drivers to use the extreme left access lane to Terminal C. It is equipped with additional exits to Sheremetyevo Highway, which significantly simplifies and speeds up passenger service.

Starting from February 1, 2021, new <a href="https://parking-admin.svo.aero/storage/2023/11/08/37eb5856e547162527fd77ebb56af2b836c79d8e.pdf">Rules for Using the Terminal Areas</a> come into effect at Sheremetyevo International Airport (JSC MAS). 

According to the new regulations, car owners will be able to enter the Airport's Terminal Area for free no more than twice within two hours from the first entry. The third and subsequent entries within the specified time will be considered a violation of the Rules and will incur a penalty fee. The number of vehicle entries is monitored across all Terminal Areas of the Airport (Terminals B, C, D, E, F).

This measure will help optimize traffic on the access roads and Terminal Area, making passenger boarding and disembarking at the Airport faster and more comfortable.

We remind you that the non-chargeable period for vehicles in the Sheremetyevo Terminal Area is 10 minutes for Terminals B and C, and 15 minutes for Terminals D, E, and F. For longer parking, there are 3 multi-level parking garages near the Terminals and 5 surface parking lots around the Airport perimeter. The cost of services changes based on the principle of "closer - faster, farther - cheaper."

On the first snowy day of winter, the multi-level parking of international Terminals E and F is once again open for vehicle placement. 

The parking capacity is 350 parking spaces. The walk to Terminals E and F takes 2-3 minutes, and to Terminal D – about 5 minutes. 

Only daily rates apply in the parking lot. The cost for the first and second days of parking is 600 rubles per day. From the third day onward, the rate will automatically update to 400 rubles per day, starting from the first day. Thus, a 3-day parking duration will cost the passenger the price of 2 days! 

The daily rate for the Parking of Terminals E and F is the lowest among official covered parking lots in Moscow airports. And – no snowstorms or icy rains.

Parking P12 resumes operations on September 3rd.

Terminal C1 is adjacent to a covered six-level parking facility with 2500 parking spaces. A ground connection links the parking lot and the terminal, allowing access to the airport in 2 minutes. Drivers are offered free parking for 30 minutes inside the building for drop-off and pick-up of passengers. After that, there is a fee of 100 rubles for every subsequent 30 minutes during the first three hours. Starting from the fourth hour, a daily rate of 600 rubles per day applies. The covered parking is the most comfortable area for parking vehicles, protected from any weather conditions, and it is recommended to use it for passenger pick-up/drop-off.

Passengers can also be dropped off and picked up in the transit access area directly adjacent to the parking lot. The free stay period is 30 minutes. Exceeding this limit incurs a penalty of 1000 rubles per hour.

Passengers can be quickly dropped off or picked up within 10 minutes at the square in front of Terminal C1. Exceeding the time limit results in a penalty of 3000 rubles per hour.

Parking P17 is open for passengers, located on Aviatsionnaya Street. It is a 5-7 minute walk from Terminal C1. Parking costs: 100 rubles for each of the first two hours, 200 rubles for the third hour, and 400 rubles for parking from the fourth hour to one day.

For free parking for vehicles of passengers with disabilities or their accompanying persons, it is necessary to contact the parking administrator in advance and present the disability certificate at the entrance upon arrival.

In January 2020, a new Terminal C was opened.

As of May 15, 2019, Parking R13, located on Sheremetyevo Highway, becomes available for passengers of Sheremetyevo International Airport.
The parking lot with 451 spaces is within walking distance of Terminal B, has a solid asphalt surface with marked lanes, and is well-lit.
The first hour of parking is free, which is convenient for those waiting for flights to arrive and now can park their vehicles in a convenient parking lot instead of standing along the roadside. After that, the cost is 100 rubles per hour for the second and third hours of parking, and 300 rubles per day. Parking can be paid for in cash or by bank card through an automatic kiosk or the Sheremetyevo mobile app.
There are also parking options available for Sheremetyevo passengers with a flexible tariff system based on the principle of "the farther, the cheaper," allowing each motorist to choose the optimal spot for their vehicle based on the location of the parking and the price.

This new approach to rate formation will allow drivers to meet and see off passengers comfortably for free during the first 30 minutes in the parking lot of Terminal B or to park their vehicle during their trip in a well-equipped parking area under the most affordable conditions among the capital's airports.
Multi-level parking of Terminal B:

<li>30 minutes free after entry;</li>
<li>subsequent 30-minute periods at 100 rubles for the first 3 hours;</li>
<li>the daily rate has been reduced from 800 rubles to 600 rubles per day (applies after the 3rd hour).</li>

The parking is equipped with escalators, elevators, and a spacious inspection area. A pedestrian gallery is provided for passenger access from the parking building to the departure hall of Terminal B.
Covered parking of Aeroexpress Terminal:

<li>30-minute periods at 100 rubles for the first 3 hours;</li>
<li>the daily rate has been reduced from 800 rubles to 600 rubles per day (applies after the 3rd hour).</li>

Update of tariffs for Sheremetyevo flat parking.

В целях профилактики нарушений правил дорожного движения и обеспечения безопасности пребывания пассажиров и гостей в аэропорт на автомобиле с 15 января 2018 года в Шереметьево повышается размер пени за превышение 15-минутного интервала нахождения автотранспорта на привокзальной площади вблизи всех терминалов с 700 до 1000 рублей за каждый час.
В соответствии с пунктом 27 Федеральных авиационных правил &laquo;Требования авиационной безопасности к аэропортам&raquo;, утверждённых Приказом Министерства транспорта России № 142 от 28 ноября 2005 года, кратковременная остановка автотранспортных средств в зонах безопасности аэропортов допускается только для посадки (высадки) пассажиров. Автовладельцам предоставляется возможность бесплатного въезда и выезда с привокзальной территории в течение 15 минут после получения въездной карты. Информация размещена на подъездных шлагбаумах, парковочной карте, информационных щитах на паркингах, на всех официальных онлайн-ресурсах компании.

<li>в декабре введена в эксплуатацию новая оборудованная&nbsp; парковка на 980 машиномест, <a href="/parking/p12">стоимостью 200 рублей в сутки</a>, расположенная на месте пересечения Шереметьевского и Нового шоссе в непосредственной близости от аэропорта.</li>

&nbsp;К Чемпионату мира по футболу 2018 года в аэропорту Шереметьево и на прилегающих территориях будет завершено формирование единого парковочного пространства &nbsp;общей вместимостью 10 150 машиномест.&nbsp; Проект включает в себя открытие парковок в разном ценовом сегменте по принципу &laquo;ближе &ndash; быстрее, дальше &ndash; дешевле&raquo;, обеспечение бесплатного оперативного трансфера к терминалам, сохранности автомобиля и безопасности нахождения пассажиров на территории паркинга.

The expansion of pedestrian sidewalks has been completed in the "Arrival" area of Sheremetyevo's Northern Terminal Complex (Terminals B and C). This is one of the important infrastructure solutions aimed at enhancing the comfort and safety of airport passengers.
The square in front of Terminals B and C was originally designed with a priority on the throughput of road traffic. Over time, thanks to a series of implemented measures, the transportation load has been significantly redistributed. The number of entry and exit groups has been increased by 60%, and the launch of a fourth transport line has expanded the "Arrival" area by a quarter, more than halved the average travel time through it, and increased the overall speed of vehicle movement. The issue of traffic jams has been addressed systematically.
The next step is to improve conditions for pedestrians. By slightly narrowing the roadway, all sidewalks separating transport lines in the "Arrival" area of Terminals B and C have been widened. Passengers can now move more conveniently around the square, traveling from the terminals to the buses, to the taxi and private transport pick-up sectors. Waiting for a vehicle in the pick-up sector has also become more comfortable—without obstructing other pedestrians.
The infrastructure upgrade aims to make the airport experience comfortable from the very first moments. For most passengers, the airport begins with parking, the road, and the square in front of the terminal. Here, the first impression is formed—and it is here that thoughtful logistics and attention to detail are crucial.

Sheremetyevo International Airport has put into operation a new equipped parking lot with 980 parking spaces, located at the intersection of Sheremetyevskoye and Novoye highways in close proximity to the airport. The new daily parking is intended for passengers departing from Sheremetyevo Airport for an extended period and arriving at the airport by private car. The open parking is a pilot project aimed at creating a unified parking space around Sheremetyevo Airport with a flexible tariff system.
The parking lot meets modern urban planning requirements, is comprehensively designed and equipped: solid asphalt surface, markings, lighting, and video surveillance. Around the clock and regularly, during peak hours every 10 minutes, a branded shuttle delivers passengers to the airport terminals. Modern minibuses are equipped with child seats and a separate luggage transport area. For passenger orientation, information signs indicating the location of stops and shuttle schedules are placed within the passenger terminals.
The parking provides customers with the opportunity for a comfortable stay in a waiting area with necessary amenities. Special attention deserves the installed online board with information about flight statuses.
The cost of parking is 200 rubles per day; for 400 rubles per day, a car can be left under a canopy. Parking services can be paid for in cash or by bank card through automatic kiosks. At the beginning of 2018, payment will be available through the Sheremetyevo mobile application.
In order to expand services for passengers and improve road and transport infrastructure near Sheremetyevo Airport, a project is being implemented to create a unified parking space. The project includes the opening of new parking lots in different price segments, providing free operational transfer, vehicle safety, and security while on the parking lot territory.

Sheremetyevo Airport implements the principle of "closer - faster, further - cheaper," according to which every motorist can choose the optimal place for their car based on the location of the parking and the price. Thus, clients can park their car in a parking lot within a 2-minute walking distance from terminals E and F for 600 rubles per day. At the beginning of next year, a new equipped parking lot will be launched within a 7-minute walking distance from terminals E and F with a tariff of 400 rubles per day.
The creation of a unified parking space is one of the elements of preparing the airport to receive guests of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The expansion of the parking network with a differentiated tariff system depending on their distance from the passenger terminals effectively redistributes traffic flows on the approaches to the airport and ensures the timely and comfortable arrival and departure of passengers by road transport.
