New parking rates starting from December 24, 2025.

The expansion of pedestrian sidewalks has been completed in the "Arrival" area of Sheremetyevo's Northern Terminal Complex (Terminals B and C). This is one of the important infrastructure solutions aimed at enhancing the comfort and safety of airport passengers.
The square in front of Terminals B and C was originally designed with a priority on the throughput of road traffic. Over time, thanks to a series of implemented measures, the transportation load has been significantly redistributed. The number of entry and exit groups has been increased by 60%, and the launch of a fourth transport line has expanded the "Arrival" area by a quarter, more than halved the average travel time through it, and increased the overall speed of vehicle movement. The issue of traffic jams has been addressed systematically.
The next step is to improve conditions for pedestrians. By slightly narrowing the roadway, all sidewalks separating transport lines in the "Arrival" area of Terminals B and C have been widened. Passengers can now move more conveniently around the square, traveling from the terminals to the buses, to the taxi and private transport pick-up sectors. Waiting for a vehicle in the pick-up sector has also become more comfortable—without obstructing other pedestrians.
The infrastructure upgrade aims to make the airport experience comfortable from the very first moments. For most passengers, the airport begins with parking, the road, and the square in front of the terminal. Here, the first impression is formed—and it is here that thoughtful logistics and attention to detail are crucial.

The sidewalks in the station square of the STK have been widened: more comfort for pedestrians.

Starting from October 16, 2025, Parking C has a specialized parking area for passengers with limited mobility (PLM). The area is located on the third level of the parking garage – next to the elevator lobby and the pedestrian gallery connecting the parking to Terminals B and C. This location minimizes the distance from the vehicle to the inspection and check-in points, providing additional convenience.
The service can be accessed provided that the vehicle information is registered in the Federal Registry of Disabled Persons. Entry to the parking area is through a separate barrier. Upon entry, it is necessary to contact the dispatcher using the intercom located at the stand and provide the vehicle's license plate number. After confirming the right to free parking, access to the PLM area will be granted.
The feature of this project is a new level of personalization: access to the parking space is granted on an individual request basis and is accompanied by a verification of the client's status through government sources. This ensures targeted use of the area and maximally adapts the parking infrastructure to the needs of passengers with disabilities.

Attention car owners: from April 1, 2025, updated conditions for the stay of vehicles in the terminal areas at Sheremetyevo International Airport will come into effect. The penalty for exceeding the time limit for a vehicle in the "Departure" or "Arrival" transport zones will be 4000 ₽/hour (previously 3000 ₽/hour). The same penalty rate applies in the case of a third or subsequent entry into the specified zones within 2 consecutive hours, and no free time will be provided for drivers in the terminal area. Changes will also affect the fee for restoring a parking ticket; its new value will be 4000 ₽.
What are the reasons for these changes, will they affect legal taxis, and what do we recommend to car owners? We clarify in detail.
Why has the penalty amount changed? The terminal area is a zone of aviation security. It is important to maintain dynamic traffic flow here, eliminate congestion, and minimize the stopping time of vehicles. Delays, even for a few minutes, can create risks for both passengers and the entire airport logistics system.
Essentially, the penalty is not a fine in the conventional sense, but a deterrent mechanism that encourages leaving the area as quickly as possible or not entering it without acute necessity. The new amount of 4000 ₽/hour is intended to discourage the use of the terminal area as a long-term waiting zone.
What to do if more time is needed? The best solution is to use one of the official parking lots at Sheremetyevo, which operate around the clock and offer comfortable conditions: Multi-level <a href="https://parking.svo.aero/parking/p2-b">Parking B</a>, <a href="https://parking.svo.aero/parking/p2-c">Parking C</a>, and <a href="https://parking.svo.aero/parking/mnogourovnevyj-parking-p2-terminala-d">Parking D</a> – with connecting galleries to the Terminals and their own inspection points. <a href="https://parking.svo.aero/parking/p18">Parking P18</a> – just a 3-5 minute walk to Terminal B. Budget <a href="https://parking.svo.aero/parking/p12">parking P12</a> – with free round-the-clock transfer every 15-30 minutes. The zones "<a href="https://parking.svo.aero/parking/comfort-p2-b">Comfort B</a>" and "<a href="https://parking.svo.aero/parking/p2c">Comfort C</a>" – special locations located on the 4th level of the Northern terminal complex. Parking spaces in the "Comfort" zones are isolated from transit traffic, making it easier to pick up or drop off passengers. Clients of "Comfort B" can use one of several electric vehicle charging stations for free.

Will this affect taxi drivers? No, if it concerns legally operating taxis. Specialized intercept parking lots are available at each Terminal. Specifically, in the area of Terminals B and C, there are two with a total capacity of 800 parking spaces. The use of these parking lots is free for drivers of the largest aggregator (from 40 minutes to 2 hours). While waiting, taxi drivers can use cafes and self-service car washes. In addition, regular taxi drivers are given extended time in the terminal areas.
Thus, the working conditions for legal taxis have not worsened. However, illegal transporters who try to "wait" in the "Arrival" zone in violation of the rules are now subject to new sanctions. This is a step in the fight against unauthorized traffic and additional care for the safety of passengers at the largest airport in Russia.
What do we recommend? 1. Plan your route in advance. Parking lots are an alternative without fines. 2. Check parking information on the "Sheremetyevo Parking" website – data on available parking spaces is displayed in real-time. 3. Do not enter the terminal area without acute necessity. Even brief waiting on the transport lines in the "Departure"/"Arrival" zones can cost more than a day at an official parking lot. 4. If you are a representative of the taxi industry, act according to the rules and recommendations of the aggregator: all stipulated conditions remain in effect.

First of all, check the information on the number of available spaces in the official airport parking lots. Real-time data is displayed in the "Parking" section, in the property cards: the green numbers in the "Spaces Available" line indicate the number of available parking spots. Of course, this data is only accurate at the moment, and the situation may change, but even this will help the driver to correctly plan the route and calculate the arrival time at the Departure Terminal.

Parking S customers have another useful innovation available – an interactive parking map with a layout of each floor and the indication of available spaces on the floor.

The second recommendation for motorists: use the Terminal D parking and other parking lots of the Southern Terminal Complex (even if the flight's departure point is Terminals B or C). The vast space of Parking D practically guarantees the availability of free spots, and the inter-terminal transfer – an unmanned train moving under the airfield – will quickly transport passengers from Terminal D to the Northern terminals and back.

New parking rates from December 24, 2024.

The Sheremetyevo International Airport has expanded the terminal area of the Northern Terminal Complex – STC (Terminals B and C) with the opening of the 4th transport line. The new two-lane access road separates transport flows to Terminals B and C (see traffic diagrams). Cars heading to the "Arrivals" zone of Terminal B now have the option of direct access. In turn, vehicles leaving the "Arrivals" zone of Terminal C can exit the airport immediately without needing to go through the terminal area of Terminal B. Thus, the additional 4th line has reduced the volume of transit traffic and increased the overall capacity of the terminal area.

Line No. 4 is marked on updated road signs on Sheremetyevskoye Highway and is taken into account in Yandex's mapping services when planning routes to Terminals B and C.

This project is part of a comprehensive program to improve road traffic in the airport area. Sheremetyevo International Airport, in collaboration with the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of Moscow and the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow Region, has previously implemented a number of improvements:

- Distribution of transport flows in the "Departure" and "Arrival" zones of the STC terminal area;
- Optimization of taxi operating rules;
- Reconstruction of exit groups in the "Arrival" zone of the STC;
- Organization of specialized sectors for passenger boarding by priority and types of transport in the terminal areas of Terminals B and C.

With the introduction of the additional transport line, the area of the "Arrival" zone of the STC has increased by 25%, and the number of entry groups has increased to 11 (by 60%). The average time for vehicles to pass through the "Arrival" zones of Terminals B and C has decreased from 58 seconds to 22 seconds (by 2.6 times), and the speed of movement has significantly increased – on average from 12 to 32 km/h. The expansion of the terminal area of the STC and the construction of exits from adjacent facilities and overhead pedestrian crossings on Aviatsionnaya Street have reduced the frequency and duration of traffic jams in the area of the transportation hub formed by Aviatsionnaya Street, Sheremetyevskoye Highway, and Lobnenskoye Highway by 4.8 times.

The renovation projects for the road infrastructure are actively supported by Yandex, thanks to which innovations are promptly reflected in the operations of Yandex.Go and Yandex.Maps applications.

The 4th transport line has been put into operation – the traffic flows to Terminals B and C have been separated.

Starting October 1, 2024, a new price list from LLC "Sheremetyevo Parking" will come into effect, according to which the amount of the fine for parking in the terminal EF area and the parking rates for terminals EF will be changed.

The new rate for the covered Parking EF is 500 ₽/day (hourly rates are not available).

The parking is located in the terminal EF area. From the moment of entering the terminal area, drivers have 15 minutes to proceed to the parking lot. Exceeding this limit will result in a fine of 3000 ₽/hour. The same fine amount applies to the third and subsequent entries into the Terminal E and F terminal areas (Departure/Arrival zones) within two hours from the first entry.

Parking payment can be made:

Changes in tariffs from October 1, 2024

The parking lot of Terminal D, with 3100 parking spaces, will resume operations on June 1, 2024. Passengers of domestic flights operated by the airline "Pobeda," departing from Terminal D, can park their vehicles on its three levels.

The parking is located opposite Terminal D; a covered pedestrian gallery with an entry inspection point leads from the parking to the terminal. The cost of the parking session is determined by the following rates:

Hourly Rate  
1-2 hours – 400 ₽/hour  
Parking for more than 2 hours is charged at the daily rate.

Daily Rates  
1-4 days – 1200 ₽/day  
5-30 days – 800 ₽/day  
From the 31st day onwards – 1200 ₽/day

Considering the rates, parking for more than 5 days in Parking D is cheaper than in the parking lots of Terminals B and C. From the first day of summer, Terminals B, C, and D will be connected by a convenient inter-terminal passage (ITP), which will take about 15 minutes to travel from Parking D to the terminals of the Northern complex and back. Thus, for passengers departing from Terminals B and C on flights with other airlines, parking their vehicle in Parking D may become a beneficial alternative.

Large families are offered a 25% discount on parking of any duration in Parking B, C, and D. Please note: payment for parking under the discount conditions for large families can only be made at the cash desks at the parking administration.  
Payment for parking under general conditions can be made:

- Using automatic cash terminals,
- At the exit barrier counters (with a bank card or via the Fast Payment System),

Free shuttles run between the parking and the airport terminals. Routes operate around the clock, according to <a href="https://parking.svo.aero/help/transfer-k-parkovke-r12">schedule</a>, with intervals of 15 or 30 minutes depending on the time of day. Travel time is about 15 minutes. Passengers wait for the arrival of the bus in the client area of the administrative building on the parking lot premises.
Be careful: payment for parking under the conditions of a discount for large families is only available at the cash desks near the administration of Parking B and Parking C.

New parking rates starting April 1, 2024.

Starting March 15, 2024, according to the Road Traffic Organization Project (PODD), the through passage from Sheremetyevsky Highway to Aviatsionnaya Street will be closed between the Parking Building B and Parking Building C. 

To turn around while driving on Sheremetyevsky Highway, drivers should turn left onto Lobnenskoye Highway, and after 100 meters – onto Aviatsionnaya Street (see the diagram). The exit from Sheremetyevsky Highway towards Terminal B parking will be used only for entering the paid parking and the "Departure B" area (transport lines along the main facade of the parking). 

We ask drivers to be attentive and follow the instructions of the road traffic signs.

Reorganization of traffic near Terminal B Parking.

Starting March 1, 2024, the route of buses providing free transfers between the <a href="https://parking.svo.aero/parking/p12">Parking P12</a> and the Northern Terminal Complex (NTC) of Sheremetyevo Airport will be changed. 

At Terminals B and C, the arrival and departure point for shuttles will be moved to the "Departure B" area of the Station Square, onto the 2nd transport line from Parking B (see diagram). This reorganization of the stop will optimize the route and significantly reduce travel time to Parking P12. Access to the airport terminal complex or the shuttle exits is via a pedestrian gallery between the parking building and the Terminals. 

The transfer service for Parking P12 operates around the clock according to the <a href="https://parking.svo.aero/help/transfer-k-parkovke-r12">schedule</a>. During the hours from 06:00 to 09:00 and from 19:00 to 24:00, shuttles run every 15 minutes in both directions, while at other times they run every half hour. The travel time does not exceed 15 minutes. 

The budget Parking P12 is located at the intersection of Starosheremetyevskoye and Novoye Highways and serves all Terminals of the airport. For drivers, there are 800 parking spaces in the open area and 230 parking spaces under a canopy to protect against precipitation.

Update on parking rates at Sheremetyevo in June 2023

From September 20, 2023, Sheremetyevo International Airport, in collaboration with the Department of Transport and Development of the Road Transport Infrastructure of the City of Moscow, has conducted a series of comprehensive measures to optimize traffic flow in the arrival area of Terminals B and C (the "Aircraft Arrival" zone) and has reorganized the location of passenger pick-up points for taxis and private vehicles.

To prevent congestion, traffic flows in the "Aircraft Arrival" zone have been distributed among three access lines. The first line, closest to the terminal building, is designated for public transport and access to VIP lounges. The second line is for passenger pick-up by private vehicles and taxis operating under premium rates, while the third line is for taxis of other categories.

Instead of navigation by column numbers, the terminal square has been divided into sectors for vehicle stopping. Each sector has a unique designation consisting of the Latin letters "B" or "C" (depending on which terminal the sector is located in) and a sequential number. For passenger convenience, a color-coded navigation system has been used in the signage: green indicates pick-up points for private vehicles, yellow for taxis with Economy, Comfort, and Comfort+ tariffs, and black for premium-rate taxis. White, blue, and red signs mark public transport stops.

The sector numbers for passenger pick-up have been used on road signs and navigation indicators inside the terminals. The Yandex Go app will guide users on how to reach the desired sector after collecting their luggage. The service will orient users on where to call a car: clients will see hints on the map showing pick-up locations on the relevant line. This will make it easier for drivers to find passengers and should facilitate smoother traffic flow.

The changes will also affect the routes for transfers to hotels and remote parking lots. New arrival and departure points for shuttles to hotels have been established in the "Departure C" zone – along the access lines beside the main façade of Terminal C's parking. The bus stop for Parking P12 is located on the Terminal B square in the "Departure B" zone, on the second transport line from Parking B. Access to the terminal building or bus exits is provided via a pedestrian gallery between the parking building and the terminals.

According to conducted studies, the reorganization of passenger pick-up points will reduce congestion in the terminal square of Terminals B and C and increase the traffic capacity of the "Aircraft Arrival" zone by up to 28%.

Starting from December 22, 2023, the terms of stay in the "Departure B" and "Departure C" zones are changing (transport lines along the main facade of Parking B and C: free time - 10 minutes, thereafter - a penalty of 3000 ₽/hour. New parking tariffs and entry conditions for "Departure" zones starting from December 22, 2023.

As of May 17, 2023, new <a href="https://parkingsvo.ru/yuridicheskaya-informacziya/pravila-polzovaniya.html">Rules</a> come into effect that define the procedure for dropping off taxi passengers at the terminal areas of Sheremetyevo International Airport.

According to the new version of the Rules, the drop-off of passengers arriving at Terminals B and C by taxi must be carried out exclusively in the "DEPARTURE" zone – on the access lanes along the buildings of Parking B and Parking C. After this, airport visitors will be able to proceed within just a few minutes via the overhead walkways from the parking lots to the Terminals, passing through security checks directly in the parking buildings.

Dropping off taxi passengers in the "ARRIVAL" zone will be considered a violation of the Rules, leading to measures being taken against the offending vehicle to block access to the terminal areas and Paid parking at Sheremetyevo International Airport for a period of 48 (forty-eight) hours.

This measure will help optimize traffic flow on the access roads and terminal area, making the boarding/alighting of passengers quicker and more comfortable.

Rules for passenger drop-off by taxi at Sheremetyevo Airport

The car-sharing service <a href="https://citydrive.ru/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Citydrive</a> is now among the official partners of Sheremetyevo International Airport. This means that users of the service can complete their car rental for free on the airport premises or pick up a car upon arrival in Moscow.

Parking spaces for car-sharing vehicles are located on the 2nd level of the parking lot of Terminal B (STK, Northern Terminal Complex) and the 2nd level of the parking lot of Terminal D (UTC, Southern Terminal Complex). Both locations can be easily found in the Citydrive mobile app: to do this, open the car map, tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen, and apply the "Designated Parking" filter. If you then tap on the blue parking marker, a window with detailed information about it will open.

At Sheremetyevo, a convenient entry and exit algorithm based on license plate recognition is in place for car-sharing clients, without the use of a parking ticket. In most cases, the system successfully identifies the vehicle and issues a command to open the barrier. In cases where, due to adverse weather conditions, the vehicle's license plate cannot be read correctly, the client should press the call button at the barrier and follow the dispatcher’s instructions.

The short-term car rental service Citydrive is available in mobile applications for iOS and Android. Currently, the operator's fleet consists of over 6,000 vehicles of various makes and comfort classes; the company's clients choose cars that suit them best.

Moscow-Sheremetyevo-Moscow: a new carsharing operator on the route

In the outgoing year, the new website of LLC "Sheremetyevo Parking," developed in collaboration with the Oxem studio, received silver awards in two prestigious internet project competitions: the "Runet Rating 2023" (in the "Auto and Moto" category) and the "Tagline Awards 2023" (in the "Best Website for Auto and Moto Business" category).

The winners of both competitions were determined through a similar scheme – in several stages, the first of which was voting by hundreds of (!) owners, top managers, and art directors of Russian digital agencies and production companies. Then, an expert jury, consisting of past winners, representatives of major corporations, and subject matter experts in the relevant categories and disciplines, joined the process. Long before the results were announced, the award organizers reported a record number of applications, a high level of competition entries, and the most authoritative jury compositions in the history of Russian digital competitions.

The concept of the new "Sheremetyevo Parking" website was developed with the needs of the main audience in mind – passengers and guests of the airport arriving or leaving by vehicle. The homepage of the site features quick access to the functions for calculating parking costs, booking, and online payment. The concise design solution for the parking list allows users to quickly familiarize themselves with information about rates and the duration of travel from parking to the Terminals.

The object cards on the "Parking" page have become more informative: key characteristics of the objects (Covered, Electric, Disabled spaces, etc.) have been added to the card covers, and inside the cards – photographs, detailed descriptions of the route to the parking and Terminals, a list of additional services, and an interactive map with the ability to build a route to the parking.

In the "Legal Information" section, users can familiarize themselves with the "Price List" and the "Rules for Using the Station Square and Paid Parking at Sheremetyevo International Airport." In the "Help" section of the main menu of the site, users can access a convenient online application form and find answers to frequently asked questions.

The new "Sheremetyevo Parking" website was developed using PWA (Progressive Web Apps) technology. It is supported by all browsers and allows for the conversion of the site into a mobile application that loads quickly on smartphones and tablets. At the same time, all the advantages of working with the site on a "large screen" of a stationary computer have been preserved.

"Runet Rating" is a nationwide competition for websites and mobile applications, held annually among developers and project owners. Winners of the competition in 2023.

To use the new feature, a special section "Parking Payment" has been created in the main menu. After the payment is completed, a window will appear on the screen confirming the successful transaction. A list of paid parking tickets can be viewed in the "Payment Archive" tab.
For the convenience of using the app, the parking payment feature is also implemented in the "Parking" subsection of the "My Journey" section, which is designed to save essential information about the vehicle's parking location, as well as in the "By Car" subsection of the "How to Get There" section.
